Brad joined us in January of 2017, bringing more than 15 years of managerial experience with him. His primary responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth homebuying process for our clients and team members. Prior to joining Kalamazoo Mortgage, Brad worked in the banking industry, serving as a VP Branch Manager for Chase Bank for many years. He graduated from Western Michigan University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Brea Topp joined Kalamazoo Mortgage in 2013 and served on our operations team prior to earning a role as senior loan officer. Brea takes great pride in providing exceptional communication to all of her clients and Realtor partners during the mortgage process.

Brian Methner is the founder and branch manager of Kalamazoo Mortgage. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Brian returned home to Michigan to earn degrees from Central Michigan University and the University of Notre Dame. Brian is active in the community, serving on several boards from the Notre Dame Alumni Association to the State Trooper Outreach Program. Brian is also the current president of the Kalamazoo Mortgage Hero Salute, the nonprofit arm of Kalamazoo Mortgage that promotes police, fire, and veteran-related charities.

Brian is married to his beautiful wife, Tonya, and together they raise three children, Elouise, Carter, and Samantha. When he is not working, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching youth sports.

Jack Sproule is a senior loan officer at Kalamazoo Mortgage. Jack joined Kalamazoo Mortgage after graduating from Michigan State University in 2020. Jack has been instrumental in our continued growth and has assisted hundreds of homebuyers through the process. Jack has earned a reputation as a problem solver who doesn’t give up until his clients are in the home of their dreams.

Jason joined Kalamazoo Mortgage in July of 2015 bringing over 10 years of mortgage and title experience with him. His primary responsibility is to assist clients through the approval process and into their new homes while providing a 5-star experience. He also communicates with underwriters and loan officers to ensure a smooth process.

Julie joined us in March of 2016 as our director of first impressions. She quickly transitioned to her current role, where she assists clients in the early stages of the loan process while providing a five-star experience and aides our senior loan officers in various aspects.
