WOOD-TV8 — Hero Salute: Veteran reimbursed $2,500 after cancer nixed special trip
The Langloises had been eagerly awaiting their first trip to the Vietnam Memorial Wall when, six weeks before the trip, Carol was diagnosed with cancer and her doctor said the bus trip was out of the question. Having not purchased travel insurance, the couple was out the $2,500 they paid for the trip. When Kalamazoo Mortgage Founder and Branch Manager Brian Methner heard the news, he decided to present the Langloises with a check for $2,500 to make them whole so they could focus on the fight ahead of them.
